          Alpine and sport climbing locality Plocha – Плоча is in Southeast of Macedоnia, 23 km from Stip. You can take the regional road Stip – Radovis to Plocha, and from the capital city Skopje, you can come through the freeway M75 Skopje – Veles and regional road route Veles – Stip.

          Locality Plocha is one of the best fitted alpine and sport climbing areas in Macedonia. It’s separate to sectors and has around 30 alpine and 30 sport climbing direction courses with different climbing levels and several boulders. More of the direction courses are with expansion bolts, which provide maximum security for beginners and direction courses with alpine bolts, and direction courses for traditional climbing. Average length of the direction course is around 100 meters, and average length of the sport courses is 8 – 20 meters. The rocks are exposed to the Northeast and are composed from Andezit, which provides large strength and compactness.

          The whole area around this locality provides the possibility for recreation, mountain bike and touristic walking. That place has an oak tree forest with paths and resting points. Also, you can visit archeological location at Pilav Tepe and the top, Plocha, the monastery Ss. Pantelejmon and the church Ss. Atanasij.

          There is mountain home “Plocha”, which has 12 beds, toilet with shower. This place can be used with previous announcement.
