THE ROCK IN SHOPUR
Long time ago, we heard talking about the rock in Shopur, but we never had time to go there and to see what it offers. On Sunday we succeed to find a couple of free hours to walk and to see the place. We walked from Stip and after 4 hours of walking, we arrived at the rock. What we saw there, reminded us of Ploca, several years ago. There was a lot of moss, plants, but in difference of Ploca, it hasn’t the same height and exposure. Because of the backwoods in front of the rock and everywhere around it, we couldn’t take good photos, which would capture the true side of the rock. The rock is at only 2 minutes of walk from the village Shopur. The ground in front of the rock is excellent for tents. I won’t speak about the beautiful nature around, the photos speak for themselves. In the future we will try to revive this wonderful place with some sports routes and paths for all the fans of nature.
